SSIO (pronounced "Ess-ess-ee-oh") is a very unique and offbeat artist of Germany's rap scene. Hailing from Afghan descent, SSIO rose from the underground with his hardcore street-rap energy combined with ridiculous humor. He's known for his satirical take on gangsta rap — meaning he brings up the same topics that gangster rappers bring up (drugs, women, cars, violence), but makes them deliberately over-the-top and stupidly funny.
