love? ...or something like it Lyrics & Tracklist - Halle

Halle Bailey’s long-awaited debut solo album, Love? …Or Something Like It, will be released on October 24, 2025, through Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records. Known for her ethereal voice and poetic storytelling, Halle describes the album as “a story of first love, heartbreak, and everything that comes after.” The project represents a deeply personal narrative that traces the stages of emotional vulnerability, romantic discovery, and self-rediscovery — an intimate look at love in all its forms.

The record features 15 tracks with collaborations from artists like Chlöe (her sister and former Chloe x Halle bandmate) on So I Can Feel Again, GloRilla on Know Bout Me, Mariah the Scientist on Alone, and H.E.R. on No Warning. Several previously released singles also appear on the album, including Angel (her Grammy-nominated debut solo track), Because I Love You, In Your Hands, Back and Forth, and Braveface.

Halle officially announced Love? …Or Something Like It through a cinematic teaser on Instagram, dressed in flowing red and narrating: “Once upon a time, there was a young girl who believed in love… She thought everyone had a soulmate, a connection of souls. All she ever desired was to discover the purest form of love. Was it ever attainable? Here’s what unfolded.” This fairytale-like introduction sets the emotional tone for the album — a reflection on love’s beauty, complexity, and sometimes painful lessons.

Blending R&B, soulful pop, and cinematic orchestration, Halle Bailey’s debut is positioned to be a defining statement of her artistry — one that nods to her roots with Chloe x Halle while marking her as a standalone creative force.
