Frank Sinatra – Fly Me to the Moon Lyrics

Fly Me To The Moon
Let Me Play Among The Stars
And Let Me See What Spring Is Like
On A-Jupiter And Mars
In Other Words, Hold My Hand
In Other Words, Baby, Kiss Me

Fill My Heart With Song
And Let Me Sing Forevermore
You Are All I Long For
All I Worship And Adore
In Other Words, Please Be True
In Other Words, I Love You

Fill My Heart With Song
Let Me Sing Forevermore
You Are All I Long For
All I Worship And Adore
In Other Words, Please Be True
In Other Words, In Other Words
I Love You

About This Song –

Bart Howard composed the well-known traditional song “Fly Me to the Moon” in 1954. Felicia Sanders first performed “In Other Words,” the song’s original title, in Cabarets. From the opening lyric of the B stanza, the song gained widespread recognition as “Fly Me to the Moon,” and after a while, the publishers formally changed the title to reflect this.

The most well-known version was recorded by Frank Sinatra and Count Basie for the album It Might as Well Be Swing in 1964. Quincy Jones modified the time signature from 34 waltz-time to 4/4 and gave it a looser, swing feel for this version. The song was also played by Sinatra with Count Basie on Sinatra at the Sands (1966) and with Antonio Carlos Jobim, the father of bossa nova, on Duets II (1994).
